Diesels over the S &D! Believe it or not this fascinating railway played host to regular diesel hauled demolition trains into the late 1960s. In this programme we rake a ride aboard one of these workings, firstly from Bath to radstock and then from Radstock to Templecombe and return. On the way we explore the railway a short time after the last passenger services, and watch some long lost diesel classes hard at work at various locations along the route. In addition we include some glimpses of the "way things were" just a few months earlier. Includes Bath, radstock, Midsomer Norton, Evercreech Junction and Templecombe station and surroundings.
