On a visit to Paraquay in 1991, Robert Adley and a TV crew were given unprecedented access to the Ferrocarril, Presidente Carlos Antonio Lopez, the last national railway system in the world that was still 100% steam operated.

Travel with Robert Adley in the Presidential coach atteched to the international train from Encarnacion on the Argentine border to Asuncion, the capital of Paraquay. Explore every corner of the Sapucay works where locomotives built in Glasgow, Sheffield and Newcastle, were maintained and overhauled.

"Paraguay Steam" includes the original half-hour broadcast documentary "In Search of Steam" featuring Robert Adley's visit. It also includes an extra hour of footage showing mucj more of Paraquay's unique railway system including the logging line at Puerto Casado in the remote Chaco, north of Asuncion.
