This DVD includes Veterans of the Vivarais, previously on video, showing operations on this famous metre gauge preserved line in France's Massif Central during May 2000. Mallets, railcars, glorious scenery and a world famous restaurant at the end of the line. Whilst lacking archive footage, this film has the benefit of showing fairly recent operations on this line - an excellent record of this glorious railway. Also included is previously un-issued and interesting footage shot on the 60cm. gauge Pithiviers-Toury line south of Paris, and the standard gauge CF Touristique de la Vallée de la Doller in Alsace during 2003. No special galas or anything else, these films show the lines the way you would find them as a visitor.
